The Yoga Arts’ Yoga Rejuvenation Retreat’s main focus is TIME OUT. Located in the beautiful, tranquil, hillside village of Ubud, Bali, this Yoga Rejuvenation Retreat allows time to relax, rejuvenate and having time for the luxury of immersing ourselves into our yoga practice. Deeply, mindfully, present!
This retreat will have a Japanese translator for our Japanese students and is open for all English speaking students as well.
You will be under the expert guidance of our senior, highly experienced and regarded yoga teachers, Louisa Sear & J C Nikhil Leal. Practice yoga, meditation & pranayama, have Ayurvedic treatments and more … on our much loved Bali Yoga Rejuvenation Retreat. Enjoy feasting on nourishing, wholesome vegetarian and Ayurvedic inspired meals and meet like minded friends in this stunning, tropical setting.

Venue and Accommodation
The Shala Bali > is a beautiful purpose built yoga center in a quiet village area of Ubud. The Yoga pavilion is open on 3 sides with roll down blinds, for optimum air flow, with a polished timber floor. The view from the yoga pavilion offers a feast of lush, tropical gardens, coconut palms and rice paddy fields.
Onsite twin share rooms in architecturally designed villa guest rooms, at The Shala Bali, are provided for our Yoga Retreat participants. The stylishly, furnished rooms, with their own bathrooms, have a view of either rice paddy fields or the 20 meter infinity line swimming pool. Darshana Veda Spa is right next door to The Shala Bali and forms part of The Shala Bali complex. Here you will be able to book in for an array of Ayurvedic and traditional spa treatments to further relax and rejuvenate during your time off from the Retreat schedule.


Lunch & Dinner
The Shala Bali & Darshana Retreat complex have two amazing onsite, vegetarian cafes where you can purchase lunch, snacks, drinks and dinner. 2 lunches and 4 dinners are included on this Retreat. Mumbai Station > is an Ayurvedically inspired Indian, vegetarian cafe serving the best masala dosas in Ubud, as well as, a variety of home made chutneys and other Indian delicacies. The Shala Bali cafe > meals are Balinese, Ayurvedic and Internationally inspired and cater for special dietary needs including, gluten, vegan and sugar free options. Both cafes source organic produce where possible.

Yoga Studio
The open air yoga shala at The Shala Bali has polished timber floors and roll down blinds on 3 sides for optimal air flow. The view from the Yoga Shala provides a feast of large coconut palms, lush gardens and rice paddy fields.

Magical Ubud
Located in the cool tranquil hills of Ubud, the Yoga Arts’ Yoga Rejuvenation Retreat is suitable for beginners to advanced yoga practitioners. Ubud offers scenic rural views surrounded by lush, fertile rice paddy fields and has a thriving community and town center with amazing restaurants, cafes, and day spas all within walking distance from The Shala Bali or a short taxi ride away.

Monkey Forest and Ubud Markets
The nearby famous Monkey Forest has a temple in the midst of a jungle filled with swinging and mischievousness monkeys.
A must visit is the Ubud Markets, in the center of town, which is a colorful experience loaded with typical Balinese craft stalls, silver, silks, sarongs, jewelry, clothes, local produce and an assortment of artifacts and treasures.

Bali Culture
Ubud is known as the artistic and cultural center of Bali. Art galleries, museums, painters, musicians, sculptures,Temple dancers and ceremonies are part of daily life in Ubud. The people of Ubud are warm, patient and friendly with many artists residing in and around Ubud.
