YACEP 40 Hr Course with Louisa Sear & Nikhil

This course is designed for students and teachers who would like to deepen their knowledge and for students and teachers who have completed their teacher training courses and need a refresher to refine their skills. The 40 Hour YACEP Course includes complete methodology for asana, including alignment, modifications, prop usage, adjusting & sequencing, as well as, introduction to Ayurveda, understanding the principles to gain the knowledge to directly influence our sequencing and structure of our daily practice & life.

FOR TEACHERS that have completed their Yoga Alliance accredited Yoga Training courses this accredited YACEP 40 hour course provides the necessary hours needed for your continuing education hours which is a requirement of your registration with Yoga Alliance every three years. 

Setting & Accommodation YACEP 40 hour course Ubud 

THE SHALA BALI > is a beautiful purpose built yoga center in a quiet village area of Ubud. The Yoga pavilion is open on 3 sides with roll down blinds, for optimum air flow, with a polished timber floor. The view from the yoga pavilion offers a feast of lush, tropical gardens, coconut palms and rice paddy fields. 

Onsite twin share rooms in architecturally designed villa guest rooms, at The Shala Bali, are provided for our Yoga Retreat participants. The stylishly, furnished rooms, with their own bathrooms, have a view of either rice paddy fields or the 20 meter infinity line swimming pool. Darshana Veda Spa is right next door to The Shala Bali and forms part of The Shala Bali complex. Here you will be able to book in for an array of Ayurvedic and traditional spa treatments to further relax and rejuvenate during your time off from the YACEP course.

Asana Assistant, Teaching Mythology, Meditation & Pranayama
As a child, in Brazil, Nikhil was introduced, by his mother, to the Brazilian Shamanic world of native Indian and African mythologies. By 17 Nikhil pursued his passion in theater and for more than 25 years this became his vocation throughout Brazil, Italy and Germany. Nikhil’s love of Spirituality and creativity then took him to India, the motherland of Yoga.

Yoga Room

The open air yoga shala at The Shala Bali has polished timber floors and roll down blinds on 3 sides for optimal air flow. The view from the Yoga Shala provides a feast of large coconut palms, lush gardens, tropical jungle and rice paddy fields.
